Children born in the digital age ask for personalized and interactive rooms

Children grow all the time. This is one of the reasons why it is practical and advantageous for little ones’ rooms to be designed to grow with them. Custom furniture is ideal for this, avoiding the hassle of renovations and, above all, excessive and frequent expenses.

When preparing the project, it is important to take into account aspects relating to future adaptations, for the short and medium term, taking into account the child's growth phases and respective needs. Little ones have a lot of energy and literally jump out of bed and play. Functional rooms ensure that all activities can be carried out there, safely and comfortably.

A mother and a father are always born the moment a baby is born. The necessary functionality so that all tasks involved in caring for a newborn child can be carried out without major disruptions needs to be one of the fundamentals of the design of a baby's room. Functional, but not without comfort and personality.

Colors are key elements, as they affect the emotional state of the child and also those who care for him. The bedroom is mainly an environment for rest. With this in mind and the fact that colors act as elements capable of provoking sensations, soft tones are the most suitable, both in furniture and decorative objects, so that the atmosphere is one of tranquility and comfort. Furthermore, light colors give spaciousness to spaces. Nowadays, this environment benefits from pastel tones and candy colors, but this palette does not need to be restricted to classic blue and pink.

The possibility of adaptation is a great asset when it comes to children's rooms. A hollow crib, for example, in addition to contributing to the sensation of spaciousness, can also be a long-lasting piece, when it is of the “3 in 1” type, that is, a mini crib to accommodate the newborn, a crib, which provides safety and comfort up to 3 years of age and a mini bed, where the child can sleep up to 7 years of age.

Easy-to-handle organizing boxes, niches and drawers cannot be left out, as they are essential for organization. Interactive decorative objects, such as climbing ropes, add personality to the environment and encourage children to move. A desk depends on the available area and can be planned leaving the bed or wardrobe, for example, to optimize spaces.

Children grow and furniture needs to grow with them, in order to guarantee them safety, comfort and the possibility of discoveries and learning at each stage. Little ones need to feel like they are in their own environment, a welcoming place to play, sleep, dream and develop.
