Do you want to make your custom furniture always new? Sandrin brings some tips

You've always dreamed of installing custom furniture in your home. He found a company, closed this partnership, and defined what he wanted in each space in the residence. All ready. The rooms are as you always wanted, with each corner representing your personality. Now it's time to discover how to maintain the furniture, to make it last a long time, looking like new for a long time.

Care is essential so that your furniture does not become dull, appear aged, show damage or stains due to poor maintenance. Because greater durability of items makes your home always modern and elegant, ready to receive guests, and avoids spending on renovations. Some care is essential to keep your custom furniture looking beautiful. See below:

Water use

Avoid using water directly on your furniture, as many pieces of furniture are made with solid wood or MDF, which can cause swelling and aging of the materials. It is recommended to use a dry cloth to remove dust and, for deeper dirt, use a damp cloth with soap or neutral detergent, without choosing sponges as they have a rough surface that can cause scratches.

Moisture

When choosing custom furniture, you always think about the space in which it best fits, but sometimes the infrastructure problems that your home may have are forgotten. Therefore, check for leaks on the ceiling, floor or walls. Humid environments, over time, can damage your furniture with the appearance of stains, mold or cracks.

Sun light

Every home has natural lighting, but it is always a good idea to take care of spaces that have a higher incidence of sun exposure, as your furniture may fade and lose its original color. Check doors, entrances, windows, passages or openings to, in the future, arrange for the purchase of blinds or curtains and protect furniture from the effects of the sun.

Limits

Custom furniture is designed for your needs, but has limits on weights and openings, no matter how resistant they are. Avoid placing very heavy objects on top of the pieces, as this could disrupt the position of the furniture and break it. Also be careful with sharp objects to prevent scratches. It is important to respect the opening angles of doors, cabinets and drawers, as sudden pulls can compromise the full functioning of these spaces.
