Custom furniture in rented property. Are worth?

Living in a rented property creates some uncertainties. Many want to personalize the space their way, but come up against rules that prevent transformations as they would like or are afraid of investing and then losing it all when they vacate the property.

Now comes the question: is it worth buying custom furniture while renting? And the answer comes with another question: Will I live here for a long time?

When you purchase custom furniture, you are investing in the long term. This is because they are furniture designed down to the smallest detail according to the room, to make the house look like you.

Even so, in the event of a change, some items, even though planned, can be used in several layouts. These are loose furniture, such as chairs, racks, shelves or some cabinets.

Our tip: Talk to the owner. Always talk to the property owner before making any modifications. You may be able to discount the value of the investment in small installments throughout the rental contract.

There are situations in which the owner makes the investment, as this furniture can bring great value to the space.

If you want a good negotiation, it's a good idea to talk about it before signing the rental contract. There can be flexibility and both people benefit from installing custom furniture.

Throughout the blog, we have many other tips to help you understand the topic.
