How to keep the house warm in winter?

With the low winter temperatures, which this year came with force, anything that can make our home warmer and more cozy is welcome. Check out some tips that will help you warm up your home:

Blankets and pillows

Blankets and pillows help control the temperature of the room and make the room very cozy. Choose microfiber, wool, knit, velvet fabrics…

Carpets

Even if the floor in your house is not cold, in winter it tends to get colder. Carpets help to warm up and make the environment more comfortable, as they act as thermal insulators. If you want to give the decoration a winter feel, choose shaggy rugs, such as shaggy.

Curtains

In addition to leaving them open during sunny days, curtains can help preserve heat for the end of the day. Choose curtains with thicker fabrics, which also help seal the windows.

Wooden furniture

Metal parts, for example, are colder. Choose furniture, such as chairs and panels, made of wood, which helps to warm up the space.

Lighting

On sunny days, use natural lighting and let the sun warm the room. In addition, change the fluorescent lamps in the lamps and lampshades for those with yellowish tones. Yellow increases the feeling of coziness.
