Sandrin Destination: Miami

International sophistication, natural beauty and cultural diversity

Even a simple look out the window is a special thing to do in Miami. All because of its impressive landscapes, including those at night. The lights on the facades of hotels and restaurants in the city center are an attraction in themselves.

Located in the south of the American state of Florida, the Miami region is considered the largest cluster of representatives of art deco architecture in the world. Its houses, hotels and buildings with geometric, modern and futuristic lines follow the style that emerged in the 1920s and is preserved to this day. Its greatest expression is on the famous Ocean Drive, the city's main avenue, which at night takes on new life when hotels and bars turn on their colorful neon signs, further highlighting the art deco style of their facades.

The Wynwood neighborhood stands out for being an open-air art gallery, made up of paintings by graffiti masters. The Wynwood Walls project began in 2009 and, today, the region brings together works by graffiti artists from all over the world, such as Brazilians Eduardo Kobra and the brothers Otávio and Gustavo Pandolfo, known worldwide as Os Gêmeos.

In addition to the beaches, art and architecture, Miami is home to sporting attractions that please fans of motorsports, basketball, baseball and American football. Marlins Park is one of the most modern baseball stadiums in the United States. Its structure uses 22% less energy than a conventional arena, which earned it a certificate of environmental responsibility.

Miami is everything, much more than beaches, glamour, sports and partying. Its architecture, where the old mixes with the new, and the variety of spaces that show the importance that art has for the city, place it in almost everyone's dreams. Miami is also one of the destinations for Sandrin, who, by providing their custom furniture, helps to make the city's spaces even more welcoming and attractive.
