Very Peri is Pantone's color of the year for 2022. Released at the end of 2021, the shade of violet, which reminds us of times of constant transformation, presents a carefree attitude and instigating curiosity, which encourages our creative spirit.
In announcing the color, Pantone said that the “inquisitive and intriguing PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri helps us embrace this altered landscape of possibilities, opening us to a new vision for rewriting our lives.”
Very Peri is a mix of a dynamic floral blue and a vivifying red. This was the first time that Pantone created a new color, instead of choosing an existing one.
